Seymour Daily Tribune December 19, 2006 Mary J. Couch Sizemore Dec. 11, 1926 - Dec. 17, 2006 Mary J. Couch Sizemore, 80, Franklin, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at Community Hospital South, Indianapolis. Mrs. Sizemore was a loving wife and mother. She had worked for Johnson County Hospital during the 1970s as a nurse's aide. Before that she worked 15 years as a group leader for RCA in Indianapolis and Bloomington. During the 1940s she worked on the assembly line for PR Mallory in Indianapolis. She was a member of Locust Grove Church in Brown County and a past member of Trinity Holiness Tabernacle Church in Franklin. She loved singing gospel songs that she wrote, going to church, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, working in her flower gardens, cooking, and taking care of her dog Brutus. Born Dec. 11, 1926, in Hyden, Ky., she was a daughter of Monroe and Bessie Feltner Couch, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 23, 1944, in Manchester, Ky., she married Howard Sizemore, who survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Barbara (Rodney) Kinman, Columbus, Betty (Vance) Groves, Edinburgh, Vickey (Dennis) Otte, Seymour, and Marilyn (Jerome) Baker, Franklin; a son, Steve (Stacy) Sizemore, Franklin; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Faye Smith, Indianapolis; three brothers, Farris, Paul and Charlie Couch, all of Brown County; and several nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Sizemore; a sister, Drucilla Asher; and two brothers, Bobbie and Golden Couch. The Rev. Jerome Baker and the Rev. Jay Griffie will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
