The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Tuesday, April 14, 1908 Page 5 Nancy (Best) Slade was born in Washington country, Ind., Feb. 15th, 1842. Died at Vallonia Ind., April 7th, 1908, age 68 years, 1 month, and 22 days. Cause of death lagrippe and heart trouble. She was married to James F. Slade, Jan. 5th, 1868. To them were born 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls. Two boys and one girl died in infancy and three boys and two girls, with the husband, survive her. She united with the Christian church in 1869 and lived a faithful member till death called her Home. She leaves two brothers, A. J. Best, of Loogootee, (a twin) and Jacob Best, of Fort Ritner. The relatives, neighbors and friends deeply regret the loss of such a kind and loving lady. CARD OF THANKS.
