Eugene Clyde Smith
Eugene Clyde Smith, 59, Austin, died at 6:04 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg.
Mr. Smith was retired from Verizon. He was a member of Scott Lodge Free and Accepted Masons 120, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite 32 Degree, National Knife Collectors Association and Knife World Ambassador.
Born June 14, 1942, at Frozen Creek, Ky., he was a son of Clyde Smith and Cleta Mae Lovely Smith.
Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie A. Keith, Austin; a granddaughter, Shelby Cheyene Keith; three brothers, Vernon Smith and David Smith and Richard Smith, both of Austin; and five sisters, Norma Smith and Pearl Smith, both of Austin, Virginia Bowling, Tennessee, Judy Peacock, Florida, and Stella Reynolds, Blocher.
A private service will be conducted later.
