Sandra S. Smith
Sandra S. “Sandy” Smith, 59, Medora, died at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2002, at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was a 1960 graduate of Medora High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Medora.
Born July 20, 1942, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Howard Boyd and Florence Brown Holmes, who both preceded her in death. On June 20, 1960, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Medora, she married David C. Smith and he survives.
She also is survived by two sons, Michael D. Smith, Dallas, and Jeffrey D. (Donnetta) Smith, Medora; two grandchildren, Morgan Smith and Nick Smith, both of Medora; and two half-brothers, Thomas Boyd and Daryl Boyd, both of Indianapolis.
The Rev. Larry Mallett will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Indiana Chapter, in care of the funeral home.
