Seymour Tribune - June 11, 2007 Alice A. Snyder Sept. 26, 1911 – June 10, 2007 Alice A. Snyder, 95, Seymour, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour. Mrs. Snyder attended grade school in Dudleytown and graduated from Shields High School. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a former member of Immanuel Ladies Aid. She was a homemaker but worked for a short time at the Woolen Mill and The Shirt Factory in Seymour. She loved to fish and care for her flowers. Born Sept. 26, 1911, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Henry and Margaret Breitfield Eggersman, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Wilber W. Snyder on Aug. 9, 1941 in Dudleytown, who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1997. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Snyder, Seymour, and Mildred Marlin, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Ott, Bill, Ben, Lawrence, George and Ed Eggersman; and two sisters, Amelia Eggersman Bush and Lena Thompson. The Rev. Philip Bloch will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
