Mary Gail Sowers
Mary Gail Sowers, 61, of Indianapolis and formerly of Sparksville, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2002, at Keystone Health Care Center, Indianapolis.
Mrs. Sowers was a nurse.
Born Nov. 29, 1940, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of John and Sylvia Starr.
She is survived by two daughters, Trixie Meadows, Langley Air Force Base, Va., and Tammy Abel, Warrenton, Va.; a son, Edward Abel Jr., Sparksville; and four grandchildren, Matthew Cater, Jason Meadows, and C.J. Abel and Julie Abel.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Pinhook Cemetery, Lawrence County.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at The Day and Carter Mortuary, Bedford.
