Seymour Tribune - August 21, 2009 Norma Jean Spath 1927 - 2009 Norma Jean Spath, 82, Seymour, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour, and a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Albany. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella and was a caregiver for her family members. Born March 6, 1927, in New Albany, she was the daughter of Clement William and Theresa Stafford Spath, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include her sisters, Evelyn L. (Jim) Bunch and Mary Summers; nephews, Jimmy Bunch and Clement, Herbert, Roy and Jerry Summers; nieces, Judy (Al) Love and Pat Knight; great-nephew, Alex Love; and great-niece, Brooke Bunch. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clement A. "Clemmie" Spath; sister, Joan Cochran; and nephew, Todd Summers. Father Scott Nobbe, assisted by Deacon Mike East, will conduct a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour. Graveside services will be conducted at noon Tuesday at New Albany at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church. A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel.
