The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Wednesday, May 8, 1912 Page 3 James Speers died Tuesday morning from blood poisoning, after several days of severe suffering. The blood poison was caused by cutting his face while shaving. He was born February 22, 1867. He was forty-five years of age. He leaves a wife, two children, one grandchild, three sisters adn two brothers. The funeral was held at the M.E. Church here conducted by the pastor of the U.B. Church of Medora. Burial was in the Shields cemetery.
