Seymour Daily Tribune January 21, 2002 Jackson Spicer Jackson Spicer, 73, Austin, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour. He was retired from Cummins Engine Company and was a member of House of Prayer in Austin. Born March 19, 1928, in Kentucky, he was the son of Dewey and Rosie Smith Spicer. On May 7, 1949, he married Lillian Marie Evans Spicer, and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Joe Spicer and Mark Spicer, both of Austin; three daughters, Jean Coomer, Lois Montgomery, Jackie Allison, all of Austin; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Spicer, Deputy; and four sisters, Adaline Campbell, Scottsburg, Virgie Bush, Charlestown, Shirley Wright and Jane Dean, both of Austin. The Rev. Bobby Spicer will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. today at House of Prayer in Austin. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Austin. Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin, handled funeral arrangements.
