The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Monday, December 31, 1945 Page 1 Zella M. Spray Dies At Home in Ewing Mrs. Zella M. Spray, Ewing R1, died at her home Sunday morning after being bedfast for two years. She was fifty years old. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock fro the Brownstown Christian Church, with the Rev. John U. Phelps in charge. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Mrs. Spray was born in Salt Creek township in 1895, the daughter of J.B. and Margaret McKinney Cross. She was married in Browntown in 1916 to Dallas C. Spray. Both parents and the husband survive. Mrs. Spray was a member of the Brownstown Christian Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star. One son, Dallas C. Spray, Jr., was killed in France in 1844. Four other children, Harry, Roscoe, and Juanita Spray, and Mrs. Russell Rumph, all at home, survive. Besides the children, three brothers also survive. They are, James Cross, Panama Canal Zone, Clair Cross, Brownstown; and Clifford Cross, New York. Two sisters, Mrs. Joe Davis, Washington, D.C.; and Mrs Lloyd Combs, Brownstown, also survive. Friends may call at the home at any time preceding the funeral.
