Louise Stamper
Louise Stamper, 59, Scottsburg, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Stamper was a homemaker and was a member of New Providence Church, Austin.
Born March 5, 1943, in Austin, she was the daughter of Paul Newman and Betty Lawrence Newman. She married Harry Stamper, who survives in Scottsburg.
Other survivors include four daughters, Doris Jean Gramlin, Fredricksburg, Shirley Hall and Sandra Stamper, both of Scottsburg, and Diane Carpenter, Henryville; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul Eugene Newman and Charles Newman, both of Austin.
The Rev. Raymond Whitehead was to conduct services at 11 a.m. today at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial was to be in Spurgeon Cemetery, Austin.
