Seymour Daily Tribune December 30, 2006 Carl T. Stanley June 4, 1928 - Dec. 30, 2006 Carl T. Stanley, 78, Seymour, died at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. He worked for 26 years in management for the Weyerhaeuser Company, worked at Greeman Real Estate, and also owned his own cleaning service for 18 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Jackson County in 1975. Born June 4, 1928, in Sturgis, Mich., he was the son of James M. and Helen M. (Weeden) Stanley, both of whom preceded him in death. On June 18, 1955, he married Phyllis M. Hornberger, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 4, 1978, he married Linda (Robinson Barnett) Stanley. Survivors include two daughters, Linda M. (Ted) Nash, Naperville, Ill. and Charlotte (William) Foster, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; four sons, James T. (Lee) Stanley, Hinsdale, Ill., Tony (Alana) Knotts, Seymour, Steven M. (Janice) Stanley, Naperville, Ill., and Andy (Melissa) Barnett, Seymour; one sister, Shirley A. (John) Cain, Marshall, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He also is preceded in death by two brothers, Howard G. and Harold Stanley. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. The Rev. Bruce Cochran and Rev. Larry Tingle will conduct funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour, with full military graveside rites. Memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or donor's choice.
