Dorothy Ann (Price) Stogdill
1929 - 2009 
Dorothy Ann Stogdill, 79, of Baltimore and formerly of Seymour, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Stogdill graduated from Shields High School in 1947 and was employed at Northrop Gruman until her retirement in 2003. She loved to travel, especially spending time at Disney World in Florida.
Born April 3, 1929, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Kruwell Price, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Carl E. Stogdill in 1947, and he preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1981.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Ronald) Meyer, Versailles, and Rebecca Fields, Baltimore; four grandchildren, Stephen Fields, Baltimore, Tracey (Todd) Cogar, White Marsh, Md., Tiffany (Nathan) Cross, Austin, Texas, and Bernard (Katie) Meehan, Baltimore; and four great-grandchildren, Halley Morgan, Joshua Cogar, Ethan Cogar and Savannah Meehan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Price Jr.
Pastor James Hudson will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
