Carol Sue Stricklen
Carol Sue Stricklen, 64, Haines City, Fla., died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at her residence.
Mrs. Stricklen was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Scottsburg. She had lived in Florida for the past 31 years.
Born Sept. 5, 1937, in Paoli, she was a daughter of Milton Lesnet and Olive Garner, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, William P. Stricklen; two sons, Danny Nolen, Commiskey, and Steve Nolen, Paris Crossing; a daughter, Linda Engleking, Paris Crossing; a sister, Janice Lord, Scottsburg; a brother, Larry Lesnet, Lexington; two stepsons, Danny Stricklen and Steve Stricklen, both of Polk County, Fla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Douglas Wallace will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg.
