Seymour Daily Tribune February 19, 2002 Robert Lloyd Sutton Robert Lloyd Sutton, 77, Scottsburg, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg. Mr. Sutton was a retired construction superintendent for E.I. Dupont in Louisville, where he worked for 24 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Scottsburg First Baptist Church, Scottsburg Masonic Lodge 572 Free and Accepted Masons and the Louisville Carpenters Union. Born Dec. 30, 1924, in Leota, he was a son of Arthur Sutton and Mable McCoskey. He married Elsie Mae Krieger, who survives in Scottsburg. Other survivors include two sons, Larry Sutton, Jamul, Calif., and Richard Sutton, Louisville; a daughter, Cathy Hastings, Ellettsville; a brother, Jack Sutton, Kent; a sister, Alma Johnson, Scottsburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The Rev. Donald C. Humphrey will conduct services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Scottsburg Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by Crothersville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1083. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
