Effie Taylor

Effie Taylor, 92, of Seymour died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 1995, at Heritage House, Seymour.
Mrs. Taylor retired in 1962 as a practical nurse in private homes and from Memorial Hospital, Seymour.
Born Aug. 18, 1902, in Freetown, she was a daughter of Leander and Edith Russell Mize. On Oct. 15, 1921, in Indianapolis, she married Jess J. Taylor and he died on March 6, 1975.
Survivors include a son, Paul Taylor, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; two half brothers, Richard Mize, Seymour; and Paul Mize, Indianapolis; a half sister, Ann McCoy, Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by a brother, two half brothers, two half sisters and two sons, Walter and James Lee Taylor.
The Rev. Bruce Cochran will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with burial in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 0 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. 
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church Bus Fund.
