Seymour Tribune - May 24, 2007 Marshall Terrell Jan. 26, 1927 – May 21, 2007 Marshall Terrell, 80, Flat Rock, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Terrell lived in Crothersville for more than 30 years before moving to Seymour for about 15 years, then the last two years he moved to Flat Rock to be close to his daughter. He retired in 1989 from American Can in Austin, then worked for five years at Wal-Mart in Columbus and then had been currently employed by McDonald’s in Columbus for 11 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, enlisting March 2, 1948, and being honorably discharged April 10, 1952. He was a member of Cana United Methodist Church and the American Legion in Columbus. Born Jan. 26, 1927, in Scott County, he was a son of Otto M. and Ola Edna Moore Terrell. On Nov. 22, 1956, in Uniontown, he married Jean Keith, who survives at Flat Rock. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. Other survivors include a daughter, Anna Terrell (Mark) Weinantz, Flat Rock; three grandsons, Mason, Addison and Jamison Weinantz, all of Flat Rock; and two brothers, Melvin Terrell, Scott County, and Robert Terrell, California. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace and Lloyd Terrell, and two sisters, Mildred Berry and Wilma Terrell. The Rev. Jim Higdon will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will take place at Cana Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
