Seymour Daily Tribune January 8, 2002 Iva L. Terry Iva L. Terry, 64, Seymour, died at 11 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis. She had been in failing health for three months. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Chapel, Seymour. She had been employed by Knotts Cleaning and was employed at Excello Shirt Factory in Seymour for 31 years. She lived most of her life in Jackson County. Born Nov. 16, 1937, in Buchanan County, Va., she was a daughter of Glenn Boyd and Euna Deal Boyd. Her mother survives in Virginia. On Oct. 13, 1956, in Buchanan County, Va., she married Franklin D. Terry, who survives in Seymour. Other survivors include three sons, Mike Terry, Greg Terry and Floyd Terry, all of Seymour; six grandchildren; six sisters, Carol Nuckols, California, Betty Stihtnar, Edgar Childress and Vanessa Ratliff, all of Virginia, Bernice Baker, Alaska, and Vicki Cooley, Florida; and eight brothers, Leon Boyd, Wayne Boyd, Richard Boyd, Roger Dale Boyd, Pete Boyd, Jeff Boyd and Darryl Boyd, all of Virginia, and Elmer Boyd, Alaska. Brother Larry Dalton will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Trinity Pentecostal Chapel, Seymour.
