Seymour Daily Tribune February 17, 2007 Helen Elizabeth Thoele Sept. 19, 1917 - Feb. 15, 2007 Helen Elizabeth Thoele, 89, Seymour, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at her residence after a short illness. Mrs. Thoele retired from Pantasote of Seymour. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Born Sept. 19, 1917, in Jennings County, she was a daughter of Mary Vogel and Frank Maschino, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1951, she married Calvin Thoele, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Stan) Ude and Mary Winburn; two sons, Dick (Sandy) Thoele and Joe Thoele, both of Seymour; two brothers, Marvin Maschino, Oklahoma, and Joe Maschino, Texas; five sisters, Dolores Maschino, Dorothy Hess, Mildred Thomas and Loretta Henkle, all of Seymour, and Ann Hill, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Jordan Ude, Brennan Ude, Sarah Winburn, Brock Thoele, Brett Thoele, Brooks Thoele, Eric Wayt, Leah (Andy) Gillaspy and Whitney Thoele; and one great-grandchild on the way, Kade Gillaspy. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leona Brylinski and Mary Jean Kvaal, and two brothers, Orville Maschino and Tony Maschino. Father Todd Goodson will conduct services at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Rosary prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose School or Schneck Hospice.
