Seymour Daily Tribune Kenneth A. "Skin" Thompson August 30, 2006 Kenneth A. "Skin" Thompson, 71, Medora, died at 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Thompson was a member of Medora Christian Church and was a self-employed carpenter. Born Aug. 31, 1934, in Jackson County, he was a son of George Thompson and Ida Wheeler Thompson, both of whom preceded him in death. On Dec. 6, 1991, he married Carolyn Clampitt Brown Thompson. She survives. Other survivors include one step-son, Bobby Brown, Seymour; two step-grandchildren, Tyler Brown, and Zack Brown; one brother, Ralph Thompson, Ft. Ritner; one sister, Betty Waskom, Seattle, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Thompson. Minister Stan Thomas will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Medora Christian Church. Burial will take place at Dixon Chapel Cemetery, Lawrence County. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at Medora Christian Church. Memorials may be given to Schneck Medical Center Foundation Hospice Fund, Medora Christian Church or donor's choice.
