Seymour Daily Tribune January 2, 2002 Theda E. Ault Thompson Theda E. Ault Thompson, 85, Seymour, died at 10:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour. She had been in failing health for one and a half years. A lifetime Jackson County resident, she had attended Spraytown Free Methodist Church and had worked at Rovair Sports Wear in Columbus for several years. She graduated from Freetown High School in 1935 and enjoyed sewing. Born April 23, 1916, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Orville and Emma Thompson Ault. On Dec. 30, 1952, in Brownstown, she married Raymond E. “Boogie” Thompson, who died April 19, 1995. Survivors include a son, Ronnie L. (Martha) Ault, Seymour; two grandchildren, Heidi Ault and Cliff Ault, both of Seymour; six brothers, Robert Ault, Howard Ault, Eugene Ault and Donald Ault, all of Seymour, Jerry Ault, Columbus, and Frank Ault, Freetown; and two sisters, Elsie Scott and Alberta Abrell, both of Muncie. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Ault and Hubert Ault, and two sisters, Opal Trissel and Patty Ray. The Rev. Jay Vincent will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be in Spraytown Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 1 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, 230 E.
