John Gordon Trapp 

John Gordon Trapp, 77, Seymour, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. 
Mr. Trapp was a member of Glenlawn Apostolic Pentecostal Church. He had worked at Talon Industries as a janitor at Freeman Field for more than 20 years before he retired. 
Born in Seymour on Jan. 15, 1932, he was the son of James and Mary Jaynes Trapp, both of whom preceded him in death. 
Survivors include two sisters, Joan (Robert) Brock and Sally Helmbrecht, and several nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Trapp. 
The Rev. Homer Roberts will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Glenlawn Apostolic Pentecostal Church, Seymour. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. 
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at the church. 
Family ask that memorials be given to Glenlawn Apostolic Pentecostal Church or Chestnut Ridge Cemetery
