Seymour Tribune - December 24, 2007 Viola Mae Trapp 1926 - 2007 Viola Mae Trapp, 81, Seymour, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Trapp was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour for 44 years. She retired from Lear Siegler in 1988 after many years of service. Born in Rush County, on May 29, 1926, she was the daughter of Walter Scott and Leona Belle Ennis Jackson, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the widow of Donald Lee Trapp, whom she married Feb. 22, 1946, in Uniontown. He preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2005. Survivors include son, Robert Dale Trapp; daughter, Donna Kay (Mike) Starr; four grandchildren, Corey Dale Trapp, Peggy (Jeff) Brewer, Penny (Mike) Jones and Crystal (Chris) Bryant; nine great grandchildren, Andy and Jessie Brewer, Jimmy, Jenny, Julieann and Justin Jones, and Samantha, Logan and Alexander Bryant, and one sister, Fern Seegers. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Berry and Dorothy Carpenter, and one brother, Willard Jackson. The Rev. D. G. Morris will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel in Seymour. A graveside service and dove release will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
