Seymour Daily Tribune February 4, 2002 Violet V. Trapp Violet V. Trapp, 91, of Columbus and formerly of North Vernon, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Trapp was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Born Feb. 13, 1910, in Peru, Ind., she was the daughter of Paul McKee and Edith Applegate. On Oct. 13, 1930, she married Dorsey R. Trapp, who died Jan. 3, 1968. Survivors include three daughters, Faye Hensley and Donna Hill, both of Columbus, and Doris Earl, North Vernon; 11 grandchildren; 26-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Hayes; a son, Bobby Dale Trapp; and two brothers, Joseph McKee and Wilbur McKee. The Rev. Walter L. Howard was to conduct services at 2 p.m. today at Vance-Fisher-Sawyer Funeral Chapel in North Vernon. Burial was to be in Vernon Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bartholomew County Hospice or Columbus Regional Hospital Dialysis Center.
