Seymour Daily Tribune February 3, 2007 Marion E. Tucker Sept. 26, 1915 - Feb. 1, 2007 Marion E. Tucker, 91, Seymour, died at 7:40 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour, and worked as a cashier at Hooks and retired from GE in Shelbyville. Born in Fond du Lac, Wis., on Sept. 26, 1915, she was a daughter of John and Laura (Brill) Whiteford, both of whom preceded her in death. On Oct. 14, 1940, she married Glen Tucker, who preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (James) Hoffmeier, Seymour, and Margaret Pope, Orlando, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Laurie Welty, Kansas, Patrick Pope, North Carolina, Brad Pope, Indianapolis, Valerie Pope, Pennsylvania, John Hoffmeier, Arizona, Mark Hoffmeier, Seymour, and Todd Hoffmeier, Seymour; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter, Kerrie Ann Pope. Father Todd Goodson will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour. Burial will take place at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church. A rosary service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
