Seymour Daily Tribune March 28, 2002 Arthur R. Tuttle Sr. Arthur R. Tuttle Sr., 71, Scottsburg, died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at his home. Mr. Tuttle was a retired plant manager for the old American Can Co. in Austin and was a graduate of the University of Illinois. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Scott County Moose Lodge 2324, American Legion Post 234, the Masonic Lodge and the Murat Temple-Valley of Indianapolis. Born Sept. 23, 1930, in Forest Park, Ill., he was the son of Roger and Eleanor Artwohl. His wife, Charlene Ann Tuttle, died Jan. 2, 1991. Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey A. Tuttle and Roger W. Tuttle, both of Tulsa, Okla., and Arthur R. Tuttle Jr., Scottsburg; a daughter, Cynthia A. Shattuck, Duck Key, Fla.; two sisters, Emily Sullivan, Elmhurst, Ill., and Beverly Miller, Costa Mesa, Calif.; and eight grandchildren. The Rev. Stanley J. Thomas will conduct services at 11 a.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Scottsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the YMCA Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
