Seymour Daily Tribune April 29, 2002 Linda Marie Vanderbur Linda Marie Sawyer Vanderbur, 53, Crothersville, died at 9:47 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. Mrs. Vanderbur was employed at Rose acres for five years. She attended Crothersville Nazarene Church. Born Oct. 4, 1948, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Killes Cane Sawyer and Lillie Mae Bolin Sawyer, who both preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Calvin Ray Hurt, Carrollton, Ky., and Ronald Lewis Hurt, Leesville; a daughter, Peggy Anne Bowling, Seymour; five grandchildren, Michael Howard Brooks, Natasha Dawn Brooks and Lexi Marie Morris, all of Seymour, Levi Hurt, Austin, and Tanner Lewis Hurt, Leesville; six brothers, Richard Sawyer, Dallas, Texas, Raymond Sawyer, Ronald Sawyer and Alvin Sawyer, all of Crothersville, Thomas Sawyer, Union, Ky., and Killis Sawyer, Seymour; and two sisters, Imogene Hopkins and Ruby Gay, both of Austin. She also was preceded by two brothers, Bobby Sawyer and James Sawyer. The Rev. Michael Lyons will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will be at Spurgeon Cemetery, Austin. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
