Seymour Tribune - May 25, 2007 Anthony R. "Tony" Vierling Anthony R. “Tony” Vierling, 33, Lee, Ill., died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Mr. Vierling was employed by the Department of Public Works in Seymour for many years. He moved to Aurora from Seymour in 1990 and moved to Lee in 2004. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and writing and performing songs. He was very mechanically inclined, was good-hearted and truly loved his family. Born Sept. 23, 1973, in Seymour, he was a son of Victor and Wilma Johnson Vierling. Survivors include his mother, Wilma (Paul) Richardson, Lee; his father, Victor (Penny) Vierling, Seymour; a sister, Vicki (Aaron) Saltz, Lee; two stepsisters, Tia and Tianna; a niece and nephew, Jessie and Lucas Saltz; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. The Rev. Wayne Derber and Steve Welch will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Jacobson Funeral Home, Shabbona, Ill. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery, rural Steward. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
