Seymour Daily Tribune January 7, 2002 Delbert Lee Vincent Delbert Lee Vincent, 70, North Vernon, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital. He owned and operated a semi trucking business and had a salvage yard. Born Nov. 9, 1931, in Kyrock, Ky., he was the son of Leonard Raymond Vincent and Mary Ellen Hayes Vincent. On June 20, 1949, in Jeffersonville, he married Virginia Ashby, who survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Delberta Marie Brooks, San Jacinto, Ginger Marline Miller, North Vernon, and Anna Lee Thornton, Rayford, Fla.; two sons, Delbert Leonard Vincent, Hayden, and James Leland Vincent, San Jacinto; two sisters, Pauline Huntington, Hope, and Oreen Ross, Muskogee, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A son, John Lester Vincent, preceded him in death. Ned Turner will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pickett Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be in Rush Branch Cemetery, San Jacinto. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
