Seymour Daily Tribune February 16, 2007 Nelson Eddy Waldkoetter Nelson Eddy Waldkoetter, 69, Puryear, Tenn., died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Waldkoetter was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He was a sheriff's deputy for 16 years with Palm Beach County and retired as a captain security worker. Born Jan. 30, 1938, in Seymour, he was the son of Nelson John Waldkoetter and Mary Rose Hildreth Waldkoetter Simpson, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Mary Ann Vice Waldkoetter, who survives. Other survivors include daughters, Monica Waldkoetter Oulette, and Rhonda Lynn Park, both of West Palm Beach, Fla., Kristina Waldkoetter, Puryear, Tenn., and Natalie Cousino, Elizabeth Joye Waldkoetter, Joanna Waldkoetter, all of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sons, Nelson Scott Waldkoetter, Paducah, Ky., and David Patrick, Indianapolis; sisters, Nancy Noblitt, Carol Hardy and Janie Waldkoetter, all of Seymour; brothers, Mike Simpson, Lexington, Ky., Tom Simpson, Joe Cockerham and Tom Waldkoetter, all of Seymour; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchildren, Landon Calhoun. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Baird. Elder Bill Gross conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home, Paris, Tenn. Burial took place at Waldkoetter Family Cemetery Foundry Hill Road.
