Gertrude (Donnells) Walker
1923 - 2008 
Gertrude Walker, 85, Scottsburg, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at her residence.
Gertrude was a homemaker and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Underwood.
Born Jan. 14, 1923, in Hayden, she was the daughter of John E. and Lillian Hamilton Donnells, both of whom preceded her in death. She lived most of her life in Jackson and Scott counties. On March 9, 1946, in Seymour, she married Murrel H. Walker, who passed away May 26, 2002, in Seymour.
Survivors include a brother, John Donnells, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond R. Donnells and Leroy Donnells, and three sisters, Marie Britton, Irene Croucher and Florence Sullivan.
Pastor Mike Seany will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
