Murrel H. Walker

Murrel H. Walker, 78, Seymour, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Walker was a member of Vienna Methodist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Born Feb. 18, 1924, in Owosso, Okla., he was a son of William Walker and Eva Robbins Walker, who both preceded him in death. On March 9, 1946, he married Gertrude Donnells and she survives.
Mr. Walker also is survived by two sisters, Betty Smith, Westport, and Nadine Walker, Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded by three brothers and three sisters.
The Rev. John Gillespie will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour, where full military graveside rites will be held.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
