Seymour Daily Tribune Raymond Carlos Ward Jan. 19, 1917 - nov. 24, 2004 Raymond Carlos Ward, 87, Seymour, died Wednesday, nov. 24, 2004, at Heritage House, Seymour. Mr. Ward was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was fo the Baptist faith and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Kruwell's Block Yard, Seymour. Born Jan. 19, 1917 at Conway, Ky., he was the son of Harrison Green Ward and Rosalia Chapel Ward, who preceded him in death. He married Edith Kathryn Webb, and she preceded him in death. He is survived by five children, Charles Dean Ward, Georgia, Raymond D. Ward, Martha (Roger) Brock and Glenna Ward, all of Seymour, and Bobby Lee (Joyce) Ward, Tell City; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Martha Donel and Opal Miller, both of Richmond. He was preceded in death by a sister, Glenna Cunningham. The Rev. Ira hold will conduct graveside services at 1 p.m. Friday at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour. no visitation is planned.
