Janet M. Warmelink, 66, Seymour, died at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, while embraced by her family members at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Warmelink worked as the manager of financial aid at Ivy Tech Community College for 10 years. She also worked as the financial secretary at Central Christian Church, Seymour for nine years. She was a member of Central Christian Church.
Born in Jackson County on Jan. 22, 1940, she was a daughter of Thedford "Ted" and Marie (Grider) Stafford, both of whom preceded her in death. On Nov. 1, 1985, in Columbus, she married Ronald Warmelink, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons: Brian Scott (Robin) Weller, Seymour and Robert Eugene (Michelle) Weller, Kentucky; two daughters, Janet Lynn (Ed) Pollen, Florida and Julia Ann (Tracy) Bullard, Seymour; one sister, Doris (Ross) Woods, Medora; two step-children, Cathy Howard and Becky (Andy) Morris, both of Seymour and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Cletes L. (Gary) Baxter and Mary Ann (Hubert) Ault; and brother, Robert Eugene Stafford.
The Reverend Sam Davenport and Reverend Rick Grant will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Pall bearers will be Corbin Weller, Brandon Weller, Nick Weller, Ryan Weller, Ben Weller, Billy Doolan, Brian Weller, and Robert Weller. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Christian Church Building Fund.
