Seymour Daily Tribune February 23, 2002 Lee Gordon Weaver Lee Gordon Weaver, 71, Brownstown, died at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour. Mr. Weaver was a member of Ratcliff Grove Christian Church, the American Legion and Eagles Lodge Aerie 655 in Seymour. He was a U.S. Navy veteran discharged in 1949 and had been employed at Kieffer Paper Mill in Brownstown for 38 years, where he had been yard supervisor. Born April 22, 1930, in Jackson County, he was a son of Ralph and Mattie Brown Weaver. On Aug. 26, 1950, in Brownstown, he married Mary Holman, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Peggy Weaver Hohnstreiter, Seymour; a son, Michael Weaver, Madison; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Weaver, Taylorsville; and a sister, Lorena Roberts, Brownstown. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Weaver Jr. and Louis Weaver. The Rev. Kenneth Fisher will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Military graveside rites will be conducted. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 12:30 p.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Ratcliff Grove Christian Church.
