Seymour Daily Tribune May 20, 2002 Kenneth E. Webster Kenneth E. Webster, 73, Deputy, died Friday, May 17, 2002, at King’s Daughters Hospital, Madison. Mr. Webster was a retired CEO for Pemco Tool and Die in Garland, Texas, for six years, a square dance caller for eight years and a U.S. army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Deputy and had resided in Deputy for 10 years. Born Aug. 5, 1928, in Greentown, he was a son of Garlan Webster and Mable Ogle, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis L. Pearson Webster, Deputy; two daughters, Deborah Pendergrass, Richmond, Va., and Denise Grace, Madison; a brother, Garlan Webster, Deputy; three sisters, Thelma Roe and Carol Dezelan, both of Kokomo, and Doris Freed, Batavia, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He also was preceded by a son, Dennis Webster. The Rev. Darrin R. Wan was to conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. today at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial was to be at Bethany Baptist Cemetery, near Deputy. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Association.
