Seymour Daily Tribune February 15, 2002 Charles Arthur Williams Charles Arthur “Toad” Williams, 87, Medora, died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at his home after an illness of several years. Mr. Williams had been employed with Morgan’s Canning Factory in Brownstown. He was of the Protestant faith. Born Jan. 18, 1915, in Medora, he was a son of Charles B. Williams and Lydia Hubbard. Survivors include several children and grandchildren; a brother, John Williams, Indianapolis; and four sisters, Maude Hess and Avis Acton, both of North Vernon, Mayme Sons, Brownstown, and Minnie Weddle, Tucson, Ariz. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Williams and Arnold Williams, and two sisters, Myrtle Greathouse and Laura Jane Williams. Robert Donham will conduct graveside services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Proctor Cemetery, Medora. Memorials may be given to the Williams family. Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia, is in charge of arrangements.
