Williams, 74, of Little Acres, Seymour, died at 6:52 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 1995, at Heritage House, Seymour after a two-month illness. Mr. Williams was a member of St. Paul United church of Christ, Seymour, and served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of American Legion Post 89, Veteran of foreign Wars 1925, Seymour Elkk's Lodge 462 and Seymour and Columbus Amateur Radio Club. He was a 54-year member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association. He was a retired businessman and past owner of Williams Auto Supply of Seymour. Born May 22, 1921, in Seymour, he was a son of Ralph Virgil and Margaret Esther Haley Williams. In 1946, he married Norma Hazelbaker in Kansas City and she died in 1969. He then married Lois L. Plumer Alexander in 1976 and she survives. Other suyrvivors include a son, Kent W. Williams, Fort Myers, Florida; a daughter Gwyn G. Schroeder, Michigan City; a stepson, Larry G. alexander, Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Bonnie L. Halcomb, Indianapolis; a grand-daughter; six stepgrandchildren; and a step-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbur James Williams and Maurice Lee Williams. The Rev. Sam and Marcia Fuson will conduct services at 1 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Voss and Sons funeral Service, Seymour, with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Full military graveside services will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans 47. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
