The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Monday, September 24, 1900 Page 3 DIED WILLMAN-John Henry Willman died at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Willman, on South Chestnut street Saturday evening, September 22, at 9 o'clock, after a brief illness of appendicitis, age 27 years. John H. Willman was born at Aurora, Ind., July 18, 1873. He came to Seymour with his parents in 1884. After coompleting his education he took employment with the Seymour Furniture Company, of which his father is the president. He was connected with the company's large retail store in this city and latterly was really the manager of that business. He was a young man of superior business ability as the success of the business of which he had charge showed. He was his father's chief advisor and assistant, especially. In the retail trade. John Willman was deservedly popular and had an unusually large circle of warm personal friends. He was hovest and upright and always a gentleman. His untimely death will be mourned by a host of friends and the grief stricken family has the sympathy of the entire community. Funeral, Tuesday afternoon from the residence at 1:30 and from the German Lutheran church at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Philip Schmidt.
