Barbara Ellen Wilson, 65, Crothersville, died at 3:45 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at her home with her family by her side.
Mrs. Wilson worked at the former Noltings Super Value grocery store in Crothersville from 1968-1999, when it closed. She was a 1959 graduate of Crothersville High School and a member of Crothersville First Church of the Nazarene.
Born April 4, 1941, in Coldiron, Ky., she was the daughter of Orville and Maude (Coldiron) Halcomb.
On Nov. 21, 1959, she married Garland Wilson, who survives in Crothersville.
Other survivors include, two sons, Shane (Nancy) Wilson, Celestine, and Chad Wilson, Crothersville; two daughters, Shannon (Brian) Keith, Crothersville, and Kistian (Jeff) Reynolds, Crothersville; seven grandchildren, Telissa Murphy, Jasmine Dorsey, Logan Keith, Erica Keith, Stephanie Zapfe, Logan Clark and Madison Reynolds; and a great-grandson, Dylan Atwood.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Christine Pruett, and two infant sisters.
The Rev. Mark Wooten and the Rev. Rick Wilson will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will be at Crothersville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
