Seymour Daily Tribune May 23, 2002 Norma Elizabeth Wilson Norma Elizabeth Wilson, 70, Columbus, died at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Mt. Carmel Church. She was employed at National Linen for 30 years. Born Nov. 13, 1931, in Bartholo-mew County, she was a daughter of Clifford D. Whittington and Mabel Hornback Whittington, who both preceded her in death. On June 21, 1947, she married Garlan Wilson and he survives. She also is survived by four daughters, Connie S. Crouch, Marilyn L. Jaggers and Angela G. Burton, all of Columbus, and Myra J. Ogle, Franklin; a brother, Robert W. Whittington, Seymour; two sisters, Vivian Burton, Taylorsville, and Judith R. Freeman, Columbus; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, Thomas W. Wilson. The Rev. Carl Uebel, the Rev. Joe Smith and the Rev. Charles Byrd will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vernon Jewell-Nick Rittman Funeral Home, Columbus. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of South Central Indiana.
