Herman, son of August Wineke and wife, died Dec. 26, after a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He was born on the 22nd day of July, 1884. Funeral services were held in both German and English languages in the Chestnut Ridge church, after which the remains were laid to rest in the graveyard at the church.
