Dorothy H. Wiseman, 86, Seymour, died at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour.
Mrs. Wiseman was a homemaker and former employee of Cain Poultry and Market, Seymour. She also provided child care for several families in the Seymour area.
Born July 12, 1916, at Seymour, she was a daughter of Henry and Dorothy Rinehart Wright, who preceded her in death. She married Charles E. Wiseman April 21, 1934, and he preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty McElfresh, Seymour; five grandchildren, Ed and Jerry Wayt and Tammy Marksberry, all of Seymour, Joe Wayt, Vallonia, and Monte Dannettelle, Brownstown; 11 great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-grandson; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
The Rev. Ottis L. Sauls will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery.
