Flossie Witten
Flossie Witten, 66, Austin, died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Witten was a retired janitor from Scott County School District 1. She was a member of the Shelter of the Sheep Church in Austin.
Born Aug. 26, 1935, in Jackson, Ky., she was a daughter of Farmer Deaton and Lillie Kilburn, who both preceded her in death. On Oct. 29, 1954, she married Russell Witten and he survives in Austin.
She also is survived by a son, Ronald Witten, Austin; a grandchild; a brother, Roy Deaton, North Vernon; and three sisters, Sirlida Terry, Sara Blanton and Jewel Sebastian, all of Austin.
The Rev. Green Neace will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
