1927 - 2009 
Ethel Woodson, 81, Seymour, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, Ky.
Mrs. Woodson was a member of Seymour Community Church.
Born Oct. 4, 1927, in Hazard, Ky., she was the daughter of Elbert and Nancy Riley, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Kelly Sandlin Jr. and Loney E. Sandlin, both of Seymour; sister, Ann Martin, Milan; two grandchildren, Edward "Dale" Sandlin, Scottsburg, and Ronald "Scott" Sandlin, Seymour; and four great-grandchildren, Johnathan Michael Sandlin and Keegan Sandlin, both of Brownstown, and Kalisha Autumn Sandlin and Bryson Dale Sandlin, both of Scottsburg.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Kelly Sandlin; a son, Danny Ray Sandlin; a brother, Manuel Riley; and a sister, Amanda "Mandie" Morris.
The Rev. Frank Holt will conduct funeral services at noon Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will take place at New Providence Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
