The Tribune Seymour, Indiana May 28, 2015 Page 5 Wayne L "W.W." Wright 1941 - 2015 Wayne L. "W.W." Wright, 74, of Columbus, has gone to a new life at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with his family by his side. Born April 28, 1941, in Jackson County, he was the son of Wayne E. "Babe" and Norma Alexander Wright, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Kathy Haggard Smith on July 6, 1996. Mr. Wright retired in 1998 as plant manager from Cummins Engine Co., where he had worked for 37½ years. A 1959 graduate of Crothersville High School, he was a member of Columbus Moose Lodge, Columbus Eagles and American Legion in Edinburgh. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, serving his country from 1961 to 1963. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Wright; daughters, Yvette Wright of Florida, and Shaundra (Brad) Sanders of Columbus; stepdaughter, Autumn (Shane) Hatton of Seymour; stepson, Justin Morgan of Plainfield; brothers, Dan (Debbie) Wright of Crothersville, and Jon "Doc" (Vicki) Wright of Columbus; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; and his faithful pet, Bandit. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky and Donnie "Stitch" Wright. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street, Columbus, with Al White officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Crothersville Cemetery, with military honors conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1083 honor guard.
