Helen York

Helen York, 85, Seymour, died Saturday, May 11, 2002.
Mrs. York was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church, Seymour.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Adam Fleetwood and Maranda Spurgeon who both preceded her in death. On Dec. 16, 1943, she married Raymond York and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Julie (David) Litton; a grandson, James Litton; two granddaughters, Nora Litton and Patricia (Chris) Stephens; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Stephens.
She also was preceded by three brothers, Farry Fleetwood, Elmo Fleetwood and Hayden Fleetwood.
The Rev. Sam Davenport was to conduct graveside services at 10 a.m. today at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Burial was to be at Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Central Christian Church.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Seymour.
