Mary E. Arnold, age 94, a resident of Portland, passed away Sunday at Persimmon Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She worked at Westinghouse in Union City and Anchor Hocking in Winchester.
She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Portland.
Mary E. Arnold was born January 18, 1918 in Jay County, the daughter of Archa and Grace (Cook) Garringer.
Survivors include one son, Clyde Arnold (wife-Judy), Hartford City, IN; two daughters, Ruth Brenner (husband-Jack), Portland, IN, and Treva Dotson, Dunkirk, IN; one sister, Marie Ross, Portland, IN; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 45 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Steve Clevenger will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Bluff Point Cemetery south of Portland. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
