Mrs. Elizabeth Bailey, wife of John Bailey died at her home in Madison
Township Thursday evening at six o’clock from a complication of diseases.
She was born in Fairfield County, Ohio on August 2, 1845, making her age
60 years and 1 day. While yet a girl, she moved with her parents to this
county and in 1863, she was married to John Bailey of Madison Township from
which union was born a large family of children, eleven of whom with her
husband survive her.
The children are as follows: Mrs. Elizabeth
Imel and D. P. Bailey, Madison Township, F. C. Bailey and Marion Bailey of
Champagne County, Illinois, Mrs. Dean Coby of Union City, Emanuel Bailey of
Boundary, Otto H. Bailey of Randolph County, and Cavilla Calvin, Viola and
Steven Bailey, who live at home.
The funeral services will be held at
the Boundary Reform Church at ten o’clock Sunday morning. Burial at
Boundary.
