Former Resident of Jay Passes
Thomas J. Bickel,
78-year-old former resident of Jay County, died this morning at his home in
Fort Wayne where he had lived for a number of years.
Survivors
include three sons, Thomas R. Bickel, Russell Bickel and Homer D. Bickel,
all of Fort Wayne and several grandchildren. His wife, the former Goldie
Logan died in 1945.
He was born April 19, 1872, near Boundary, the
son of Jacob and Miriam Bickel.
The body will be brought to the
Baird Funeral Home here Saturday for services at two o’clock with the Rev.
Paul Logan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Boundary
Cemetery.
